Meet Our Leadership Team

Craig Leupold

Chief Executive Officer

Craig is the Chief Executive Officer of GSI Capital Advisors. Craig previously served as the CEO of Green Street Advisors. During his twelve years running the company, the firm roughly tripled its revenues, grew its headcount four-fold, and completed two corporate transactions to private equity firms. Prior to his role as CEO, Craig was President of Green Street Advisors, where he served as the primary liaison to the investment community and oversaw the firm's client relationships and interactions. Before becoming President in October 2007, he established and managed the firm's residential research efforts, covering the apartment, student housing and manufactured housing sectors. His 30+ years of industry experience includes real estate consulting at Kenneth Leventhal Co and real estate finance at Union Bank of California. Craig earned his MBA in Finance/Real Estate from Columbia University and a BA from University of California, San Diego.

Nick Tannura

Chief Investment Officer

Nick is the Chief Investment Officer and lead Portfolio Manager of GSI Capital Advisors, where he is responsible for leading the research and investment efforts of the firm. Most recently, Nick was the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Silverpath Capital Management, a long/short equity hedge fund focused on real asset securities. His experience also includes the ownership, growth and management of a $7 billion investment management business that was acquired by Brookfield in 2007. Nick was responsible for the equities investment business of Brookfield Investment Management until his departure at the end of 2011. Nick received his MBA in international finance from the University of Chicago and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University.
